                This cartoon is about the Spanish American war. It seems as though the author portrayed it in a negative way sort of say it wasn't even fair when we joined. Some people could see this in a positive way saying the it wasn't fair for the Cubans if we didn't help. the author used techniques such as exaggeration and labeling. Exaggeration because uncle Sam is bigger than a country. Labeling because the label the land mass Cuba and the cloud as war.
